FAQ
Your frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to produce a professional video? How much does a corporate video cost?
The costs of a video depend on many factors. Typical budget items include pre-production, scripting, shoot days, camera type, crew size, locations, actors, animations, 3D graphics, music, professional voice-over, opening and closing credits, editing, sound mixing, video conversion, and export.
We need an approximate idea of how much you want to spend on the video or reference videos from you to develop a practical and achievable concept. We will provide this along with a transparent cost estimate so you can understand how the price is determined.
We only have a small budget. Is there a way to reduce costs?
Certainly. Please let us know in advance what budget you have in mind. The production can be tailored to your needs and requirements. There are many ways to make video productions more cost-effective while maintaining high quality.
What is the first step to start a video production?
At Touché Video Agency, we begin with a consultation. During this initial meeting, we listen carefully and ask questions to understand your communication goals and your company.
We gather ideas and provide suggestions on how we can best execute your project within the given budget. You can also find an overview of the video production process here.
Does it require an in-person meeting, or can communication be done online or via phone?
We are happy to work with you and your projects remotely. Thanks to emails, phone calls, and video conferences, it’s possible to have a good and personal exchange, regardless of location.
How should I prepare for a meeting with you? What information do you need?
Take a few minutes to put together a brief summary. This will help us understand your needs. Keep it concise, but include the following points:
- What is the goal of the video? To inform, sell, or motivate?
- Who is your target audience?
- What is the message you want to convey? What you want to say and to whom will form the basis of the script.
- Where will the video be shown? Website, social media, trade shows, online events?
- What is your timeframe? When do you need the video delivered?
- Do you have specific requirements? Graphic animations, special effects, or animations?
- Budget? It’s good to have an idea of what you’re willing to spend.
- What and who should be featured in the video? This is also known as the treatment (precursor to the script).
- Have you seen anything you like? Also consider voice-over and music.
- Production: What is the availability of personnel, locations, and resources
How long does it take until my video is completed?
It depends on the complexity of the video production, but generally, you can expect a timeline of 3-5 weeks from the completion of filming. If you have a very tight deadline, we will do everything possible to shorten the production time and meet your deadline.
How long should my video be?
This depends on a number of factors and the communication channel. Generally, we recommend a length of up to a maximum of 2 minutes, with shorter versions for social media. The main reason for this is that the longer your video, the less engaged your audience tends to be. In online videos, the essence lies in brevity. If you have a lot to say, it’s usually better to produce multiple videos and allow viewers to choose the content that interests them the most.
What is the standard quality of your videos?
We shoot with full-frame cameras equipped with highly professional Canon, Zeiss, and Sony lenses to deliver images in 4K resolution at the highest quality.
What type of video equipment do you use?
-
We primarily shoot with Sony FX6 cameras, which are professional full-frame camcorders capable of recording in 4K up to 120p. For particularly dynamic shots, we utilize camera stabilizers (Gimbal), typically employing the Sony Alpha 7s III or the Blackmagic Pocket cameras.
-
Additionally, we use high-quality lenses from Canon, Sony, and Zeiss, F&V UltraColor Z800S Soft Bi-Color LED panels, Aputure 600d and Aputure 300x lights, and Aputure Light Dome Softboxes for lighting.
-
Our audio equipment includes high-quality wireless microphones from Sennheiser, Sanken lavalier microphones, and Rode shotgun microphones.
-
Our studio is Macintosh-based, and we work with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Cubase, and DaVinci Resolve for post-production.
How much does it cost to produce an animated video / animated explainer video?
Similar to building a website, all animation projects are customised and so without knowing the variables for a particular project (i.e. length of animation, character or graphic animation etc.), it is very difficult to quote a specific amount. In general, the cost is somewhere in the range of 1500 euros to 2500 euros per minute. However, we can create fairly simple slideshow style “videos” for a little less and customised character animation videos for a little more.
